Many mac users like me, install and use more than two browsers on the mac. Each browser has a list of bookmarks that can sync bookmarks to different computers, phones, and their own accounts, but can't sync bookmarks to other browsers. If we need to collect and merge these bookmarks, is there a way to sync all the bookmarks on different browsers on the Mac? 1. Use One Bookmark to sync bookmarks from different browsers We can download and install One Bookmark to sync all bookmarks on different browsers. It supports for Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Opera browser, and it can find and remove duplicate bookmarks and unreachable bookmarks.1. Run One Bookmark and select Manage All Bookmarks 2. Click the folder view icon button in One Bookmark, and then click Manage bookmarks button, and choose Remove empty bookmark folder menu item to delete empty folders and subfolders that don't have bookmarks inside.3. Click Manage bookmarks button, and choose Find Duplicate bookmarks or Find unreachable bookmarks menu item, to delete duplicate bookmarks and dead bookmarks from different browsers. 4. Click Export bookmarks button to save the reorganized bookmarks. Then you can import the saved html file to any browser.2. Manually merge bookmarks and import them into the browser. Users, it was just an expression of my rage and frustration at Opera for not accepting any of the many User Names I had suggested..Once again, "damnyou" was never intended to be used at fellow Opera users leocg Moderator Volunteer @damnyou last edited by @damnyou You can't change your username. damnyou @leocg last edited by @leocgI guess I'll have to learn to be more patient. I've had to switch computers 2 times at this point and I quote-unquote "collect" (really just bookmark) TV Tropes pages. I have approx. 500 pages saved so it'd really be a shame to lose them, but this saves me from that. Last edited by admin For the moment, the Bookmark Importer is made for importing only bookmarks in Opera Presto (the old Opera) (latest version of it is Opera 12.17). Now We are currently at Opera 22. My understanding is that Opera is working on making the Bookmarks Importer work with 3rd Party Browsers, like Firefox. I know it was initially being worked on for Opera 23, but at this point, I don't know whether that will be implemented in Opera 23 or later. So, the only way to get Firefox bookmarks into Opera at this moment is to piggyback on Opera 12.17 -- that is, get the Firefox bookmarks into that browser, and then to use the Bookmarks importer in Opera 22. If you're going to do that, I would suggest completely uninstalling Opera 22, and then installing Opera 12.17 first. Once using Opera 12.17, click on File, Import and Export, and then, Import Firefox Bookmarks. After you import Firefox Bookmarks into Opera 12.17, then re-install Opera 22. Hopefully at that point the Bookmarks Importer will not be greyed out. Because the Importer has been on occasion a bit tempermental, here's a thread that gives suggestions. Leocg's comment in the thread is important, and it is based on that comment that I suggest completely uninstalling Opera 22 first, and then installing Opera 12.17 (to accomplish the importing of bookmarks from Firefox). in Opera 22 (after the reinstallation), remember to activate the Personal Bookmarks Bar.
