To ensure that proctors are familiar with test center security measures as well as test administration procedures, AMCA provides a mandatory Proctor Training in which proctors receive instructions on checking candidate identification, seating candidates, security of test materials, proctoring, and addressing candidate misconduct. Adding Exam Proctors to an AMCA Test Site Account All AMCA certification exams must be proctored by an AMCA approved proctor. The exam proctor is required to be a staff member of the Test Site issuing the exam but may not have a vested interest in the outcome of the exam To add a proctor, the Test Site Coordinator should do the following: 1) Log into your Test Site account. 2) Click “Roles” in the Menu bar and select “Proctor.” 3) Click “Add New”, complete each required field, select “Proctor” as the role and hit submit. 4) The proctor’s name will now appear in the proctor list as “Pending” until they complete the required AMCA Proctor Training and submit their AMCA Proctor Assessment and AMCA Proctor’s Oath. All approved proctors are valid through the calendar year (December). Proctors must repeat the Proctor Training and submit a new Proctor’s Assessment and Oath annually (January). 2025-04-08Into your AMCA Test Site account at www.AMCAexams.com Click on “Roles” on the left-hand side navigation bar and locate the “Proctors” page. Click on “Proctors” to open a listing of test site proctors. If your name does not appear, please reach out to the Test Site Coordinator to have your name added. Locate your name in the listing. To the right of your name, under the “Action” column, you will see an icon to the Proctor Training and the Assessment. Step 2. Review Proctor Training in its Entirety Step 3. Proctor Training Assessment After completing the AMCA Proctor Training, you must take the Proctor Training Assessment which consists of 10 questions. A minimum passing score of 70% is required to proceed to Section 2. If your score is below 70%, you may retake the assessment immediately without delay. Once you achieve the 70% pass mark or higher, you will automatically advance to Section 2. Step 4. Proctor’s Oath and Agreement This section includes the Terms & Conditions for serving as an AMCA proctor. You will need to review key information related to your proctor role. Digital signature is required to confirm acceptance of the terms. Renewing Proctors (Existing Proctors) If you are renewing your oath for 2025, your renewal will be approved automatically upon submission. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after. New Proctors (First-Time Applicants) If you are a new proctor, your oath and information will automatically approved within your test site account. You will receive an email with final instructions to set up your personal proctor credentials that will be used to unlock a candidate’s workstation.
