Windows 10 does not acknowledge the presence of the HP Synaptics touchpad despite the fact that the touchpad works and that the Synaptics software is present.Windows 10 blocks the installation of the Synaptics driver and reports that the best driver is already installed.Synaptics driver installation file does not install the driver and reports that the Synaptic driver is already installed. But the Synaptics touchpad does not appear in the list of devices, just a generic touchpad.The Windows generic touchpad driver reports the error "set user settings to driver failed" on start and after starting.
