@top { content: "Table of Contents" } @bottom { content: counter(page, lower-alpha) } }More than one element can belong to the same name, in other words, page names behave like CSS classes.Prince will create a page break between elements belonging to different named pages, including elements without a named page. So in Restarting page numbering, a page break will be inserted after the the table of contents, because the next element has the page name main rather than table-of-contents.Selectors such as :first, :Nth, :left and :right also work with named pages. For example: @page preface { @bottom { content: counter(page, lower-alpha) } } @page preface:first { @bottom { content: normal; } }This example only works when a page name is used only once within a document, such as for the preface of a document (documents only have one preface). If you wish to apply a style to the first page of every chapter then you must use the prince-page-group property to create page groups: div.chapter { page: chapter; break-before: right; prince-page-group: start; } @page chapter { @bottom { content: counter(page); } } @page chapter:first { @bottom { content: normal; } }The property prince-page-group: start instructs Prince to start a new page group. This is necessary for the div.chapter:first selector to match the first page of each chapter, instead of only the first page in the first chapter. See Page groups.Blank pagesA special case are blank pages. As we discussed in the previous section, break-before: right can be used to place the first page of a chapter on the right page in a spread. If the previous page is a right page, two page breaks are inserted, leaving a blank left page. However, this page will have normal @page styles applied to it, which is usually not what people want. The :blank page selector can be used to change the style of blank pages, pages skipped such as a left page before a break-before: right, including removing any content. @page:left { @top-left { content: counter(page); } } @page:right { @top-right { content: counter(page); } } @page:blank { @top-left { content: normal; }. You export the report. You can use the page panel before the TOC page panel to present additional information when you export or print the web report, such as a cover or preface for the report. To delete a page panelSelect the page panel in the Report Inspector.Right-click in any blank area in the page panel in the design area and select Delete Page from the shortcut menu. For a page report tab, you can also delete a page panel by placing the mouse pointer to the beginning of the page panel and selecting Backspace on the keyboard. You cannot delete the first page panel in a page report tab. When you delete a page panel from a page report tab, if the page panel contains content, Designer moves the content to the previous page panel.TOC Page Panel When you insert the TOC Page object into your page report tab or web report, Designer automatically creates the TOC page panel to position the table of contents generated by the object. You cannot insert TOC page panel directly, while you can customize its page settings in the same way as you do for a general page panel. A report can have only one TOC page panel. To remove the TOC page panel, delete the table of contents in it and Designer deletes the TOC page panel at the same time. When you delete the TOC page panel from a web report, Designer also deletes the page panel before the TOC page panel if there is one.Page Header and Footer Each page in a page report or web report has its own page header and page footer. They are the areas in the top and bottom page margins, where you can add almost any components. You can insert fields, such as page numbers and topic headings, in the page header and footer. When you create a page report tab or a web report or when you add a new page panel in a page report tab, Designer generates a page header and page footer at the same time. By default, Designer does not display the header or footer of the page panels. You can show or hide them for each page panel by selecting in the page panel and then selecting or clearing Page Header and Page Footer in the View ribbon.TOC Page Header and FooterThe TOC page panel also has its own page header and footer and you can show or hide them and insert objects in them. However, different from the header and footer of a general page, the TOC page header and footer can only contain labels and the special field TOC Page Number, Export Page Number, and Export Total Page Number. Page SettingsAll pages designed with the same page panel apply the same page settings, so you just need to set the settings for one page panel to apply them to all these pages. To customize the page settings, you can use either of the following two methods:Customizing via the Page Setup dialog boxForIn the pages vs. on the pages
Costs, and impacts to customer service in 2023.KEEPING THE LAST MILE IN SIGHT When customers order an item, they want it delivered now. Retailers realize this, but they also have to keep costs in mind. A study FarEye conducted with Researchscape International finds that retailers with more than $100 million in sales seek to improve the top key performance indicators of on-time delivery (74%) and cost per delivery (62%). But as supply chain complexities increase, on-time deliveries become more challenging. To help solve this issue, many retailers outsource their delivery networks, but this comes with its own set of problems. For example, the initial report findings show that 84% of retailers that have outsourced their delivery networks now want more control over those networks. Visibility is the biggest reason why; 33% of retailers say accessing reliable information is a challenge. To address these shortcomings, 77% of logistics providers say they expect to expand their budgets for last-mile delivery technology, and 82% say they will likely change or buy a new last-mile delivery solution in the next one to two years. To enable more e§cient, cutting-edge deliveries and lower costs, logistics providers are also evaluating electric vehicles (80%), autonomous vehicles (44%), and drones (38%).March 2023 • Inbound Logistics 23 Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 Page 6 Page 7 Page 8 Page 9 Page 10 Page 11 Page 12 Page 13 Page 14 Page 15 Page 16 Page 17 Page 18 Page 19 Page 20 Page 21 Page 22 Page 23 Page 24 Page 25 Page 26 Page 27 Page 28 Page 29 Page 30 Page 31 Page 32 Page 33 Page 34 Page 35 Page 36 Page 37 Page 38 Page 39 Page 40 Page 41 Page 42 Page 43 Page 44 Page 45 Page 46 Page 47 Page 48 Page 49 Page 50 Page 51 Page 52 Page 53 Page 54 Page 55 Page 56 Page 57 Page 58 Page 59 Page 60 Page 61 Page 62 Page 63 Page 64 Page 65 Page 66 Page 67 Page 68 Page 69 Page 70 Page 71grammar - On a page or in a page for a web page - English
